กงฮโยจิน (Kong Hyo Jin) เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 เมษายน 1980 เป็นนักแสดงสัญชาติเกาหลี เข้าสู่วงการบันเทิงด้วยเส้นทางนักแสดงภาพยนตร์กับผลงานเดบิวต์เรื่อง Memento Mori เมื่อปี 1999 และได้เริ่มแสดงซีรีส์ครั้งแรกในปี 2001 กับผลงาน Beautiful Days ก่อนที่จะกลายเป็นที่รู้จักจากบทบาทไอดอลตกอับที่เธอเล่นได้น่าประทับใจมาก ๆ ในซีรีส์ดัง The Greatest Love เมื่อปี 2011 และผลงานนี้ก็ทำให้เธอได้รับรางวัลมากมาย
ไม่หยุดเพียงเท่านั้น แต่ กงฮโยจิน ยังแสดงฝีมือการแสดงสุดยอดเยี่ยมผ่านบทบาทคนเห็นผีได้ดีจน The Master’s Sun (2013) ฮอตแบบฉุดไม่อยู่ และตามมาติด ๆ กับ It’s Alright, This Is Love (2014) ที่ได้ถ่ายทอดเรื่องราวของ จีเฮซู แพทย์ประจำภาควิชาจิตเวชศาสตร์ที่เป็นโรคกลัวการมีเพศสัมพันธ์ออกมาได้อินสุด ๆ
